Abstract
This study examined the mediating effect of stress coping strategies on relations between student¡¯s problem behavior and psychological burnout for special education teachers. Data was collected from 92 special education teachers. The results are as follows. First, correlations between problem behavior and psychological burnout, and correlations between problem behavior and stress coping strategies for special education teachers are negatively associated. And correlations between emotional coping and psychological burnout, and correlations wishful thinking coping and psychological burnout special education teachers are positively associated. Second, wishful thinking strategy showed the partial mediating effect for psychological burnout and problem behavior.
